A selection of tales written over the last eight years, from a high school short story to an excerpt of an MA Dissertation.
Each story is a marker on my journey, revealing how my craft and perspective have blossomed over time.

December 2016
First Prize, Junior Division of the 2016 HK Top Story competition, Six Minutes is about a man who recalls his last day of high school.
February 2021
A collection of three short stories written for Zolima Citymag's AFTER_ exhibition, with commissioned paintings by Rosie Lam.

After developing the idea of this novel through the OWN Academy x Soho House mentorship in 2021, Karina went on to continue piecing it together throughout her MA at the University of East Anglia.​ Her dissertation was the millionth edit of the first third of the novel.

This is a queer coming of age story that follows two girls over two decades, and takes place in the city of Hong Kong.
